So I'm officially pissed, but really, what else is new?
In short -- our computer crashed and burned a few days ago. We had this program, though. My dad bought it -- called Carbonite, and basically it saves all of your files in case you have to reboot the computer. Well. Everything we had on our computer was saved to it, tons of stuff. But my dad doesn't think to write down the serial number, remember the password, or the computer name. He's had my trying to figure it out, calling and emailing these people, but they're no help.
In short, everything is gone, unless dad can remember what the password and all of that other stuff was. I lost TONS of pictures, all of my icons, my documents, and my music.
Really, is that hard to remember to write down a password/important information?
I guess the plus side to this is that Firefox is working, and other things that didn't work before are now working. And there isn't so much clutter on here.
But seriously. Once I get my damn job? I am so getting a new laptop. I hate sharing the computer with everyone.
