I spent a good little while today and yesterday making graphic/banner things with PhotoFiltre, which is - as I'm told simular to PhotoShop, just not as difficult to use. It was pretty fun and I got caught up in doing it ... now, keep in mind these are all expirimental, me playing with things and what not. But if you like something, let me know! Or if you want something in particular, make a request! : )

So, fletcherism opened up wholand , an interractive Who!Verse community (think whedonland , and spnland ). Activities. The teams are Team Tardis, Torchwood, UNIT, and Dalek (whoo, Daleks! o.0). Any Who!Verse fans here? Go join up, it sounds like it'll be fun. I'm holding off cause I'm swamped and have hardly participated in the comms I should be active in (fail, self).

I really have nothing interesting to update about. Unless you want to hear me moan about stuff and being unhappy, which I don't even want to hear - let alone, write out so I'm just going to leave it at that. Hope all of you are well! <3

HIATUS.

NOW - ? (a few days, maybe?) I just need some time to figure things out and maybe get out of this funk I've been. I've been in this ridiculously awful self pitying hole for the last week. I have a question. This song - the Aerosmith cover. Did David Cook perform this for American Idol or was it recorded on an album? He did do earlier stuff, right? I've got to admit, I've always found this song so unbelievably and ridiculously sappy (and slightly annoying), but I kinda love his version. Of course, David has the voice to pull this song off, me thinks.

In other news, Cody, Conner and I have finally got further into DW season four. We finished the Pompeii episode last night. We've had the DVDs for close to a month now, but didn't have time to watch them. I know, lame right? When we had the last three seasons, plus the two of TW, it was Cody's summer break from school - we could stay up as late as we wanted, or we had just moved and didn't have the internet and cable to distract (or we didn't share a room with Conner - which is how we finished watching TW so quickly. Although he did see some of the 2nd season ...even though I told him it's not like DW and he really shouldn't be watching it). I have to say, the fat episode was totally weird, but Donna was hilarious in it. I sort of love that she and The Doctor balance each other out and she isn't afraid to tell him off for anything, haha. The conversation through the window was the best thing ever.

OH KAY. Rambling now, sorry.

Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered... whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV"). The important thing is to make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) can get in touch with you. Your home address is not required!
Make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Surf around your friends list (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now, here's the important part...
If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes one person's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use - or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free - do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf - to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not - it's your call. There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give and you might receive.
